About this policy
Donut Management is a Root app for community support tickets, announcements, giveaways, reviews, and welcome messages. This policy explains what the app stores and how it is used. The community owner who installs the app controls its settings and is responsible for the community’s use of the app.
Information the app handles
- Root account and community identifiers, display names, role identifiers, and profile image references needed to show the app and enforce access.
- Support ticket subjects, messages, attachments, status, participants, and saved transcripts created through the app.
- Giveaway entries, winners, prizes, requirements, and expiration details.
- Reviews, ratings, announcements, and welcome-message settings submitted by a community administrator or member.
- Configuration choices such as enabled features, selected channels, staff roles, and administrator roles.
How information is used
The app uses this information to operate support workflows, show members only the tickets they are allowed to access, deliver community features, save transcripts inside Root, and let administrators manage their community. The app does not sell personal information or use ticket content for advertising.
Where information is stored
App data is stored in Root’s app storage for the community that installed Donut Management. Each Root community has a separate app instance and data store. Donut Management does not require a separate website sign-in for the in-app dashboard.
Sharing
Information is shared with members and staff only as allowed by the community’s settings and ticket permissions. A ticket’s messages are visible to its member, assigned staff, and permitted administrators. The app does not sell or rent information to third parties.
Retention and deletion
Ticket transcripts and other records remain available to the installing community until an administrator removes them or uninstalls the app, subject to Root’s storage and backup processes. To request deletion or ask a question, contact the administrator of the Root community where the app is installed.
Children
Donut Management is not directed to children. Community owners must follow Root’s rules and applicable age and privacy requirements when enabling the app.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the app’s data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
